Zadkiel watches as I grab my box of Cocoa Pebbles and the milk. I needed a distraction something to keep me from staring into his… beautiful brown eyes… wait, WHAT!? I turn to Elena, “What’d I miss yesterday?” I ask coughing. She shrugs, “A fight between Rose and Jaime apparently Rose cheated on him with Lendon, now she’s got an ex- boyfriend and a baby on the way, Mr. Cole was curious as to where you were yesterday something about life and death or some good shiz, you know what that was about?” She lifts an eyebrow. I sigh and nod. ‘I am already out of school’ Zadkiel’s voice implanted into my mind. I scream in shock and my spoon clatters on the floor. Elena touches my shoulder, “What, what’s the matter?” I ignore her and glance at Zadkiel who is shaking his head. A headache swims above my eyes. “Oh, I am fine, I thought I saw a… uh- hmm a spider.” I give her a quick smile grasp the spoon off the floor, throw it in the sink, and yank another one from the drawer.
