A teachers affair

Derek pulled away from me. To give me room to breathe and slowly people stoped staring.

" Join me for a dance, love? " he asked

I smiled at him and replied

" I'd love to."

He took my hand in his and kissed it as we were heading to the dance floor.

He wrapped one protection arm around me and guided me through the dance floor.

" why are you looking at me like that?! " I asked finally getting annoyed enough to say something.

Hes been staring at me with a smile on his face and this weird glow all night!

Not that I'm complaining.

He laughs.

" I love you."

I smiled at him.

" I love you too."

I rested my head on his shoulder and he cradled it between his head.

Ive never felt so safe, so loved.

" Esmae, will you sleep in my room tonight?"

Oh no!

" um.... actually I kinda already promised Alex."

Hes head shot up and I raised mine as well.

" What?!?" He asked confused and outraged.

" Well he has no one else." I stated

Derek took a deep breath in as hes knuckles turned white.

" I don't care! Tell him he can cuddle with a pillow, not my girlfriend!"

He was almost yelling now, so I grabbed his arm and brought him into the hall, which luckily no one was in.
