A Simple Life of a Teenage Boy
Page 75After a week,
The day finally came. I was waiting so desperately to fly United States. It's 12 PM with a scorching sun above. I'm inside the airport hall waiting for my plane to arrive. But it's still just 12 so I have to wait for another 1 hour. In the meantime, I'm observing other passengers waiting for their respective flights. Some are with all their family members and some are with friends. It looks like I'm the only one alone. A few minutes earlier I bid farewell to my family. Mother looked sad and wished me a safe journey. Father smiled and told me to take care of myself. My small sister Alicia told me to bring something for her with a sad look in her face. It was hard for me to look at their sad faces. I smiled and told them that I would be back soon.
My visa is for 45 days and there's just 2 weeks left for Jenny's surgery. I even don't know what the disease is. All I know is that she is admitted at South Seattle hospital. I will try to get to her as soon as I get there. Unfortunately, James came back to England yesterday. He is not there and I will have no one to help me. I lied to my parents and they have thought that I will be safe with James. But, in fact, I don't even have a hotel booked. I just have a visa and a plane ticket to Seattle. I don't know where I will stay after I get there. I have $1500 in my pocket to survive for 45 days. I don't know whether that will suffice me or not. I'm planning to stay at some cheap hotel. I have to manage foods for me too. But I'm not worried about them. All I'm worried about is Jenny. She is struggling death which is like a nightmare for me. Ok, let's skip the sad part. Jenny will be totally fine after the surgery. And I will confess my love.
